Important note for Cubase users: the plugins FINALLY seem stable. The process of using the plugins is not so straight forward though; I wish Cubase allowed for the use of third party MIDI FX like Logic (or Ableton). Having to load Captain Chords/Melody as an instrument and then set your synth's MIDI IN to the MIDI OUT of Captain Chords/Melody gets annoying real quick because of track counts. Have to be disciplined about naming/color-coding things to not lose track of what Captain plugin corresponds to what VST synth.
I'm just happy it's stable though... for now... until Steinberg breaks it with one of their maintenance updates (only joking... kinda).
The full potential of the Captain plugins can be recognized by those with a theory background. However, for theory noobs like me (and you possibly), the plugins are easy to operate once you get the hang of basic theory concepts (i.e. do a little quick reading on scales).
