The Intellijel Korgasmatron II is a transformative expansion module for Softube Modular, bridging the gap between classic analog warmth and modern digital precision. Inspired by a legendary Japanese synth from the early 80s, this dual voltage-controlled filter offers unparalleled versatility with its six independent filter modes on each channel. Whether you're sculpting pristine, clean sounds or exploring the edgy and aggressive, the Korgasmatron II adapts effortlessly to your creative vision.
Each filter channel operates independently, letting you tailor your sonic palette with precision. The Xfade knob blends the filters to your liking, while the unique overdrive feature introduces soft or hard clipping based on your input signal, perfect for adding texture and depth. Push the input amp past 12 o'clock, and watch your sound transform from subtle warmth to intense grit, particularly effective on complex sources like chords.
This module also doubles as a limited oscillator, tracking 1v/oct over 3-4 octaves, offering even more creative potential. Whether you're running filters in series or parallel, the Korgasmatron II ensures your sound remains vibrant and full of character.
