Description
The TX216 is a 19" rack for accommodating up to eight TF1 modules, which correspond to a classic DX7 FM synthesizer, and is already equipped with two TF1s at the factory (corresponds to the original delivery at the time). However, programming or editing can only be done with the help of an original DX7 synthesizer or with one of the editor programs for Atari computers and similar that were widely used at the time. The Yamaha TX racks were intended as a voice and sound memory extension to complement the DX7 and could be equipped with additional modules as required. Features: Expandable 19" rack , Accommodates up to eight TF1 modules , here equipped with 4 modules , Control buttons for selecting the maximum of 256 voices (8 x 32) , programmable only via DX7 or software , 2 mode buttons , LED display , Midi In/Out/Thru on the front , Midi In/Thru per module , Mono XLR output per module
