I have a Chinese one, probably from the 90's or earlier 2000's. It sounds like shit, but the build quality as a whole isn't that bad, especially for such a cheap guitar. It's an okay starter guitar, but after playing other, nicer guitars, and then coming back to this one and trying it again, it just sounds horrible with the stock pickups. So bad, in fact, that just holding this piece of shit in my hands seems to stifle my creativity. There's this nice buzzing sound it makes when you aren't touching the metal on the guitar, and there is absolutely no resonance when anything is played. The pickups hardly even pick up the sound the high e makes, and that kind of pisses me off. Overall, it's an OK guitar, i guess, if you're really short on money or just starting out.

I have a Tribute Indonesian model in Sonic Blue, and it plays great. The pickups, tone settings, everything, sounds great, especially considering it was bought for less than $500. Really impressed with this guitar, and I will strongly consider G&L for my next guitar purchase. Great build quality, great sound, great guitar (although I've heard that the Korean models are better). Overall a nice sounding Tele, and it's my go-to guitar most of the time.

Personally, this is the first and only bass I've owned, but I've used quite a few before this for a while. This bass is better than most of the others I've used and, despite the low price, sounds fantastic. It plays well and is really comfortable to play.with some upgrades, it could compare to a more expensive Fender bass.
