Surprisingly good for entry-level

This amp is only one step up from the lowest model Fender sells. For bedroom jamming, it's surprisingly good. Mostly I play it with the tone controls flat and contour off. Once in a while I, when nobody's home, I kick in the overdrive and crank it up. Someday I'll move up to something with more wattage and a 10" speaker, but for practice, this is a keeper. Aux input is handy for backing track or drum machine input.

eddie22

This amp is compact and lightweight amp packs a punch with its 25-watt output, making it perfect for small gigs, rehearsals, or home practice sessions.

The amp is equipped with a 10-inch speaker, which delivers a deep and punchy bass tone. Whether you prefer a clean and smooth tone or a more aggressive and distorted sound, this amp has you covered. In terms of build quality, the Rumble 25 V3 is top-notch. It feels solid and sturdy, and the control knobs are smooth and responsive. The amp also has a headphone output, which is perfect for late-night practice sessions or silent rehearsals.

emuemulator2

Good starter amp.

Simple to use and works great with any medium output bass, if you use an active with high output. Get something else.

Edit: The power switch fell off recently after 2 years of heavy use, you still get your $100 worth but come on.

The best "My first bass amp"

I use it to practice. but this thing can get very loud when it's needed! i love how the buttons doesn't have a mark but when they are in the middle you can feel it. The overdrive button sounds good but I guess most players would better use a pedal when they want that effect.
I played with a Fender Precision Bass (not mine of course): and sounds really really cool.

bubbshalub

good bass amp for a beginner, but not much more than that

as the title says, it is alright for a beginner who doesn't want to shake their house awake, the only issue is that it is too under powered to compete with a guitar and drums. I would recommend beginners get the 40 watt variant

freedom_solossa

The proper first amp

Don't get fooled. This 25 watt combo could properly shake a living room. perfect for beginner that looking for "my first amp", to a hobbyist for a living room or bedroom amp. Even by professionals for practice. Trully worthed for it price.

Finally crapped the bed after 4 years. RIP, old friend

This was my first bass amp. It took me through my worst time as a bassist all the way up to now, and I played it as a guitar amp as well. It was here for me during my starting period... and now it's gone.

RIP little buddy. Your slightly muddy overdrive circuit, incredible 1x8 speaker, beautiful tone, and accurate 3-band EQ will be missed.

Biggest bang for my buck!

I got to say, I am impressed with the $99 I spent on this little thing! It might be 25 watts but it is pretty nice for indoor practice or small Coffeehouse gigs! Not to mention the overdrive and contour buttons are a pretty sweet option as well.

Fantastic Bass Amp

This was my first, and thus far my only, amplifier for my bass, and it has served me well. With a simple set of controls and a small-ish size, this amp is about as versatile as they come; it can work for practice, gigging, or recording!

elektr0

Very nice for the price,

I've owned this Rumble amp for about 6 months, and I must say, it is a very versatile amp at its price point. For $99, this amp comes with 3-band EQ with scoop button, overdrive, and auxiliary 3.5mm input. I use it for bass, as intended, but also for guitar for that extra bottom end.
