Beautiful in every aspect!

Slightly brighter and with more bite than the TS9, every guitarist should have one!

FANTASTIC BEAST

You want Dire Straits cleans? You got it. You want Metallica levels of gain? Perfect. Guitar amp from a bass amp company. Apparently we need more of those.

Also, pretty lights.

Metal Thrashing Mad!

This pedal absolutely NAILS the 80's Thrash Metal sound. Anthrax's "Got the Time" is a perfect comparison. It'll also match Metallicas first four albums (five if you count Garage Days). And then most Nu Metal like Disturbed, Drowning Pool, and Slipknot can be matched with this. It's got it's own built in effects loop. I don't use it but it's a cool feature. I do find, however, that Korn, or bands with lower tuned guitars with more mids don't sound as good through this pedal as they do through a JCM or DSL. But that's just personal preference.

Analog Level Quality.

This pedal has a range of things it can do from snapback to long ambient delays. I highly recommend one of these or the DD-7 that actually has analog capability.

Awesome tuner!

This is a true strobe tuner equipped with the Buzz Feiten system capability. It's a little weird to get used to at first, but after I did it was awesome. It's built like a tank and accurate as hell. Great pedal!

Decent.pedal if you don't know how much you want a talk box.

It's a very good pedal if you take the time to tweak it right The mic that is included is to try to introduce it to your chain which is a bad idea with no stereo out, because the signal is affected by the rest of your chain, still. However, hooking it up to a mic and a bass/keyboard/vocal system works awesome. You'll get feedback at higher gain/volume combos, however. All in all, not a bad pedal, but I'd prefer an MXR M222 or a Dunlop HT1.

Surprisingly good!

This pedal sounds very good for how cheap it is. Delays aren't really effects that you should ever cheap out on, but this pedal actually does well for itself from what I've seen. I also have a Boss DD-3, and the Joyo isn't on that level, but for the price, it's DEFINITELY good.

Not as good as the 808, IMO

This pedal is great for some classic rock overdrive, light overdrive punk music (Green Day), as a gain/mid boost, and is just very versatile overall. Very SLIGHTLY darker tone than the 808. The only reason anybody would choose one over the other is for personal preference.

Decent pedal, well worth the money.

This pedal is definitely good for bringing up the volume of your single-coiled guitars with high-compression, or for evening out the volume of chords with humbuckers at low compression. But trying to use compression above 10 or 11 o' clock with humbuckers or high-output pickups in general results in a breaking up of the signal that just doesn't sound good to my ears. But it IS well worth the money.

Fulfills all your wahwah needs!

Wanna get the intro to Bodies by Drowning Pool? Get this pedal. Any Metallica solo ever? This'll do it. Writing music for a porno? Perfection. This is honestly too under the radar for how good it is. I'd take it over a Crybaby any day. I mean, if I was given the choice to straight up trade this for a Dimebag, Hammett, or Cantrell wah, I'd probably take the trade, but this thing is great!

Awesome for everything!

This amp can do everything from Surf, to Country, to classic Sabbath-style metal and hit it on the head! The only thing I find it doesn't do best is Thrash metal. For that you need something tighter and with more bite. But that's not a downfall, just a preference.

Perfect for Korn!

You can nail Korn all day long with this thing! All it's missing is a Floyd and you could audition for Korn with it!

Comparable to higher-end gutiars.

Despite the bolt on neck joint and the shape, upper fret access is surprisingly easy. The pickups are definitely comparable to EMG pickups and the over-all feel of the instrument is awesome. The only thing is that there's something that feels a bit off while playing it with lighter strings. But it's just a quirk more than a downfall.

Nice for the price.

Despite how cheap the entire Gio series is, you can actually nail a lot of the 80's Hair Metal sounds on this thing. The Single Coil in the middle gives you extraordinary clean tones in positions two and four. A set of locking tuners would go a long way, but other than that, it's a very good guitar for what it's priced at.

Perfect for Punk!

I use this as my punk guitar. Mine's got an Avril Lavigne pickup in the bridge spot and I can nail all the punk tones with it! Plus the "neck always on" switch I've got "TOANZ 4 DAYZ"

Withstands the test of time.

My FG-401 was made in November of '74 (if I read the number right) and sounds AMAZING. Yamaha is known for making everything, but they actually did a FANTASTIC job on this guitar.

Only an Epiphone is Good Enough

This Epiphone plays like a Gibson. The standard pickups are very slightly less clear than those of higher-end models. But I like it a lot more for that. Beautiful looking and playing guitar!

Beautifully made guitar.

This guitar is beautifully made for a model where most of the price is guaranteed to be in the name. It plays smoothly, and sounds beautiful. I DO wish it had a Floyd Rose trem, but I actually don't like them. It's just a lot of Metallica solos use trem. So it's weird that it's not there.

An Ugly Duckling Story

This was Lakoda Grey Beebouts first guitar. It started out as an Indonesian Squier Stratocaster. Now the only thing Squier about it is the body. Everything has been replaced by American Stratocaster parts and locking tuners.
