It is my first guitar and is still my main one to this day. I love the way it plays, and paired with a few pedals and a decent amp, it offers amazing tonal versatility. For something priced at just above £100, it is a great buy. One problem (with my one at least, and it only cost five pounds to fix) is that the input jack can come loose and tear the wires. Like I say, this is an easy fix. It has a nice weight to it, but could be heavy for younger players. That aside, I love mine.

I have seen some quite scathing online reviews of this guitar. It is a good beginner guitar, I presume from what I have heard. I bought mine second hand and it was in quite a bad way. I intend to mod it, but it is a very aesthetically pleasing guitar. The previous owner painted it a seafoam green colour and I have since sprayed the pickguard black and the guitar is heavily reliced. With a little work, this can be a great guitar.

Not my favourite guitar, but I’m pretty sure mine is b stock so I’m willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. Pots can be slightly crackly and pickups aren’t great.

A nice affordable bass, plays pretty well with a few adjustments, unless like me you don’t mind slightly higher action (that makes me sound like a dick) but it is a good beginner bass.

Mine was a gift from my grandad, and it was purchased second hand and has been furiously modified since then. When I picked it up, I could tell it was cheaply made. The neck is substantially heavier than the body, and this results in quite a bit of neck drop and this can be and inconvenience to younger players. To be honest, there are better beginner basses out there, my modified one is very good, but the only original parts are the body and electronics.

Since I can't actually find out much about my main amplifier, I'm gonna write about this one. I purchased mine for £15 at a car boot sale and it is a great amp for practice, for beginners or even just as something to have knocking round the tour bus as a pro. It sounds pretty nice for what it is, and overall is a great small amp.

Brilliant for lighter styles of playing, but equally good for heavy stuff, these are the picks I mainly use when playing. Extremely versatile.

These are what I use for bass, although they sound great for metal whenever I have used them. Again, very versatile picks, love them.

This guitar has been in my family for a fair few years, and plays great considering its age and retail price. It is by no means perfect, but is nice for practicing and messing about on, I have written demos on this. I was not sure of the model, will comment later if you're interested.
