Joyo D-SEED Guitar Delay Review | BPB

bedroomproducersblog.com

Joyo D-SEED packs a punch for its price, offering impressive build quality and versatile delay modes, including a standout Analog setting. The tap tempo mode and dual channel memory enhance its appeal, though the lack of battery power might be a slight drawback. Overall, a fantastic budget-friendly choice for delay aficionados.

Cheap and very effective

I'll do this by going through settings:

Copy: An exact copy delay. Great for really staccato bits.

Analog: (My favorite setting) A great take on a classic tone, Has a really nice decay.

Modulation: (My second favorite) A really nice chorus-y effect tail. Use a short delay for super big sounds!!

Reverse: A really clean reverse delay. Have not found a use yet but, who knows!!

Overall:

5 Stars for tone and the ability for two presets, 4.5 for the tap tempo being a pain in having to tap both switches at the same time. If you are looking for a cheap delay, Yes. Yes. Yes.

A Versitile and Affordable Delay Pedal

The versatility of this $70 delay pedal is simply amazing. The pedal feels substantial and not cheap, and all four of the delay types sound fantastic for the price point. There is a bit of hiss if the volume is cranked, but that may just be due to my setup.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

Either straight Digital or Modulated delay, with the mix at about 2 or 3 o'clock, and the time and feedback pointing at 12 o'clock.

Good for the money

The presets are a good idea. I wish the repeats were slightly brighter, even with the COPY setting on, it sounds rather analog. Also the time knob doesn't do the glitchy crazy noises, which I was really looking forward to.

das_biswajit

Two delay channels for the price of one !

The main reason why i purchased this delay were the two store able channels. It has four delay mods and all of them sounds great. The only thing I miss in this pedal is the battery option !

evildarren

Rather nice for the price

Great delay pedal for the price, tend to use the analog option on a fairly low setting. Adds a nice touch to big up some of the cleaner riff and bits I play.
