Inexpensive, transparent, low noise, true bypass, good quality... perfect!

The choice if you're looking a compressor that doesn't change your tone.

This cheap compressor from Boss works like a champ. An excellent option if you need a comp but you don't want to break the bank.

Sounds excellent, but actually I'm using only for recording. For live situations I prefeer the OC-3.

I own the OC-2 and the OC-3 and I prefer the OC-3. Sounds very similar to the OC-2 (octave 1 of the OC-2 mode)but with more volume and the tone is a little bit more sinthy. The octave 2 of the OC-2 mode is different, but I feel it's more usable since it has more clarity and midrange. The only complain about the pedal is some short delay when the effect is engaged. It's not a latency problem, it's not a tracking problem, there is no cut in the sound. The effected signal has a micro delay when the switch is engaged... I supose that the processor is in some sort of standby status in order to save batteries and when you press the switch the processor starts (the consequence would be this short delay). It's not a major problem, and 90 % of the time you simply won't notice anything... but I think that it's important to mention. Anyway... I like the pedal a lot.

Excellent for a super fat subsinthy bass lines.

I use it only for recording. The bypass sucks tone.

It sounds more natural and less obtrusive than the POG. It's a good compact alternative and the modullation is nice too.

A la Mutron. Sounds very funky without volume spikes.

An envelope filter with a very unique voice. I love it.

I'm use it more like a bass sinth than a pure envelope filter.

One of the best machines for funk. It's a little big and needs his own adaptor (24v). You'll need a comp or limiter to tame the volume spikes.

It sounds very sexy and vocal. The distortion is great too. This russian version has some tone sucking on bypass.

The tone is dark and fat. It's excellent for a slow sweep filter. Unlike a lot of people I find the bypass ok. I don't notice any dramatic change in my bypass tone to be honest...

To me sounds more traditional than the Dunlop 105. I prefeer the feel over the Dunlop. The only drawback is that it tends to distort with loud signals.

Ultra flexible dirt box. The background noise is really low for a distortion device.

Not exactly the same than a real Ampeg, but is a good faux box.

Nice recreation of the Foxx Tone Machine with added sub and nice options that the original doesn't have. The bypass is buffered.

One of my fav fuzz boxes. I modified it in order to tailor it to my preferences. (I changed transistors, diodes and the tone stack)
