I bought this years ago as my first synthesizer, after seeing a lot of demos and artists that I like using a Minilogue. The XD is, to my knowledge, an upgrade on what was the classic Minilogue, with an added "Multi Engine" that serves as an additional digital oscillator, a nice and improved sequencer as well as a plethora of digital effects. And with all that, it is pretty user-friendly, which pushes you to create your own sounds even if you're new to synths. Playing with it is fun, and there's still a lot of menus where you can find a lot of settings to tweak if you want to go deeper, but it never feels boring. A jack of all trades at an affordable price (for what it is of course).
