Ace

can run for ages off a LiPo batter if used with a USB to 4.5v DC cable. Glitchy beat repeat in this machine makes for Aphex twin-like stutters. Pretty wide range of FX too.

Suprisingly nice clean tone...

It can do that fender distortion sound and it sound real nice on clean guitar. I used to run my electronic rig through it with VDP until I got a better amp and headphones.

old skool

A charity shop find, courtesy of a relative. Slightly out of tune but apart from that, its a Bontempi organ...

isn't this the little piece of junk Joy division used?

metronohm808

Simple and it does the job very well.

Reliable, great synth-key action, USB and 5 Pin MIDI. What more do you want?

Ace

fun to carry around and sounds decent with a bit of EQ and some spaced-out FX. It's a classic come on...

Cliché 80's monsta

contains all the legit sounds of the 80s and 90s. A bit of a menu diver but overall packed with the cheesy sounds everyone will need at some point in their musical career. apart from a broken key its pretty ace overall

Versatile and perfect when partnered with Ableton.

Ableton Push has beenone of my must-haves for ages. now I finally have one I have realised what I've been missing out on. perfect for use with ableton [obviously] and the visual feedback is a great help. plus having a screen making it 10x better than the launchpad. Bus power is the icing on the cake for me...

Great features for the dosh.

This pedal really does well to form fuzzy/bright distorted sounds. Behringer's name has been very beaten over time but I think that you cant go wrong and to me, personally, it sounds as good as something that would cost a lot more. I'm also in the progress of circuit bening it as ive found a nice patch that creates a synthy sorta saw wave tone.

Also WOW

I have used this kit for small gigs, busking and even recording. It sounds amazing for its size and it fits very nicely into the Hip Hop/Soul/Jazz category of drumming. I especially love the coated heads because it gives a really warm yet poundy feel to the kit.

Sleek

This kit came to me through my drum teacher. He had already used it for numerous projects and gigs before I possessed it. The shells resonate really well and have a dark sort of tone to them. I love the colours and the fact that the natural wood shows on the rim of the bass drum is a nice touch.

Great

This D.I. was very worth buying. I use it to balance in-balanced sources and to convert 1''4 cables to XLR when there's only the option of XLR on a PA system/Snake. great value for money

metronohm808

Portable and does everything you want

Either in the studio or in my backpack, great for a lot of applications, I just wish the MIDI CC mapping was more stable

My first and only bass currently...

Great for the price but did need some mods doing once it had arrived and been gig tested. I used to play this bass in the Hull punk band, Unwired Society and it served me well. Only con with this bass is the build quality, sometimes need to tighten stuff on it and the wood isn't great but its a bass and it works and sounds decent.

Does as described...

One of my first pieces of electronic gear. Its a great little machine with stereo jack outputs on 1''4 as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack for on-the-go use. I either power it via mains or a portable USB phone charger, both work great. Compatibility with 5 pin MIDI is great but I wouldn't recommend it as a USB MIDI trigger. Great for one shots and little jams I just wish it had more purpose in my live setup because it's great!!!!

Great starter mic

The Behringer C-1 is a great mic for people starting out with audio recording. Great for home studio use, wouldn't recommend for use live though because of the pickup pattern being pretty prone to allowing feedback. I use it on everything from vocals, bass, guitar [both acoustic and electric] and drums...

Multi-functional-portable-sampler and sesh machine

I honestly didn't expect the kaossilator to be as articulate as it is when buying it. I mostly use it for field sampling of chimes, sirens, wind [the lot] also great to take to a party where someone has a speaker with a line in, gets the dancers dancin' if you know what I mean...

metronohm808

Serves well

Straight outta the box and it works. Cracking sound, an ample amount of ins/outs inc. 5 pin MIDI S/PDIF XLR 1''4. I use it live and in the studio, all round ace..

metronohm808

Great starter synth.

Portable, sounds great, capable of generating cliché synth sounds, has everything you need

VCO VCF LFO ENV

and built-in delay

Does what it says on the tin.

The M-Audio fast track MK2 is a portable bog standard audio interface, capable of recording audio over 1 XLR and 1 1/4'' connection at 24bit/48KHz. I use the fast track when I play gigs with my band @VDPband. I purely use it to send audio out of my laptop to FOH. I also utilise the 1/4'' in port with my Volca Keys Synth.

The core

I first met Ableton live when I got my launch control pack which contained a copy of the Live 9 Lite software, the Launchpad S and the launch control. I produce and perform live with my band using Ableton. It is an extremely unique and flexible DAW.
