I've used alot of monitors, from the KRK Rokit 5, 6 and 8, the HS5, HS7 and HS8 by Yamaha, as well as the Sterling MX8, Mackie MR524, MR824 and CR3 (not acceptable for any studio imo, but good for starting out) and these monitors have AMAZING depth and clarity for their size. They have a lot less harsh mids than the HS8 in my opinion, not in the sense of lacking mids, but flatter and smoother response. Even the HS8 has a slight bit harsher midrange than these, I use them as my daily drivers for monitoring. Easy 5 stars.

It's a DAW, for Mac, ... for $200. I just got this 5 minutes ago and I really only have a basic understanding of the program lol. It seems like an upgraded GarageBand with a ton of new features.

This software retails at $800, and it's worth every penny. I do ALL of my vocal mixing in Ableton. If you listen to one of my songs after the release of Depressure, they were mixed and mastered in Ableton.

Picked this up at Guitar Center for around $50, and it's well worth the price. Good for blocking vocal reflections from whatever wall is behind the mic. I may upgrade to a much larger isolation shield later, as this one is on the smaller side.

Picked this up at the Apple store for $1200, and it works wonders for making beats with things like Garageband pre-installed, and getting Ableton Live and Adobe Audition on it is a breeze. Runs my entire studio. Everything I do is done on this thing. No spinning hard drive, fan-less, dead silent, LONG-ass battery life, light and perfectly portable. I take this thing everywhere.

Picked this up for about $50 at Guitar Center, and it works amazing, it raises up to bring the mic to about 5'10" off the ground, which is perfect, because I stand at 6'3" and raising it to max height makes it the PERFECT height.

It's the phone I use. Not much more to say.
