Lifesaver for shitty vocal takes
Before I had the idea of shoving my laptop into the closet, I used to record vocal snippets for my tracks with my PC right next to me. The fan noise from the PC would fuck with me like crazy. I eventually got RX to save me in a lot of those cases thanks to the De-Hum module.
I also used to do my vocal takes with an omnidirectional mic that I used for Sonarworks. The mic tended to pick up a lot of room sound. The De-Reverb module helped me in those cases.
Nowadays I use RX for stuff like headphone bleed (De-Bleed) & mouth clicks (Mouth De-Click). Thankfully I don't need to use it nearly as much as I used to (I rarely even need to pull up anything outside the plugin modules).

Essential, worth it for the Denoiser alone
RX is essential & needs to be in your toolkit. On vocals, I use it to remove the preamp noise from my Focusrite 2i2 - which is already quiet, but RX pushes the noise down 20-30dB quieter. That helps when I'm pushing vocals through several compressors & enhancers. The Declipper also works really well if I've accidentally recorded too hot.
Of course, RX really shines for cleaning up old & badly recorded audio, like podcasts or cassette recordings. It even rescued synth samples I'd sampled in the 90s at 8-bit from a cassette tape!

In this video at 48:30 Dada Life uses RX 3: Complete Audio Repair to repair problems in the song One Smile.
In a livestream on April 1, 2020, titled "Today's CoronaJam: A Hybrid Theory-style demo," Mike Shinoda uses iZotope RX 8 as part of his music production process.
"'Vocally, things were almost supposed to sound like the mic was being passed around RZA’s flooded basement in 93' (haha). So while I didn't want to take away the lo-fi vibe, the De-plosive and Mouth De-click, and De-crackle modules in RX were used to the point that Doom got his own preset in De-plosive. Esoteric likes his vocal to be very warm and close in proximity, so throwing Alloy on his vocals just for the Exciter section became a go-to move.'

This blog entry on the iZotope website indicates that their software is used at Gabriel's Real World Studios. It says, "We recently found out that iZotope’s RX 4 audio enhancement and repair software is now a staple toolkit in Real World Studio’s post-production set-up since the team saw the impressive results Peter Gabriel’s engineer Dickie Chappell had produced when he used RX to clean up some old recordings."
From The Midnight's March 3rd, 2021 Twitch.tv Stream ''Tim is breaking down Neon Medusa'' Tim McEwan of The Midnight talks about how he uses Izotope's RX 7 De-Clip plugin to remove the hotness and any clips in Tyler Lyle's voice from the mono track.
"RX is a whole other amazing universe of its own; you have no idea how many times I wished I could just remove the annoying loud headphones in the background of an otherwise perfect vocal take back in the day. Well, I'm sure iZotope programmers have a perfect idea actually, it's why they wielded it into existence for us mere mortals, so we can stop f[***]ing complaining and do something useful with our meaningless existences!"
According to the official gear list on Darude's Website (Click on the studio tab), it says he owns a license for iZotope RX.
7:43 "You can also use Izotope RX which has some very useful machine learning algorithms that can actually detect music seperately from voice automatically, and get rid of the music. This is fairly recent tech. I don't know how the hell it does it. But very often for me, it does a very good job."
