Great frequency response out of a 6.5" driver
I've used alot of monitors, from the KRK Rokit 5, 6 and 8, the HS5, HS7 and HS8 by Yamaha, as well as the Sterling MX8, Mackie MR524, MR824 and CR3 (not acceptable for any studio imo, but good for starting out) and these monitors have AMAZING depth and clarity for their size. They have a lot less harsh mids than the HS8 in my opinion, not in the sense of lacking mids, but flatter and smoother response. Even the HS8 has a slight bit harsher midrange than these, I use them as my daily drivers for monitoring. Easy 5 stars.

My Studio Monitors
These speakers work great as studio monitors, they pick up just about all frequencies well and I use these when I'm producing and I don't feel like wearing headphones. Obviously I will upgrade in the future, but desktop studio monitors are towards the bottom of my list of wants right now.

Great, powerful laptop, with sub-par battery life and heavy weight.
Picked this up almost a year ago for around $1500, and it runs things with flying colors. I've recently switched to a Macbook Air for better battery life, portability, and... GarageBand. I still use this one to play games alot though, it's a beast for that.

Creates studio-type sound out of anything.
I used to use this program to do ALL of my vocal mixing and it does a great job, but it really doesn't teach you how to REALLY mix and master. You can make shit sound great in this but it doesn't really use the same mixing process that industry standards like Ableton and Logic Pro X use.

Great computer for music production
Picked this up at the Apple store for $1200, and it works wonders for making beats with things like Garageband pre-installed, and getting Ableton Live and Adobe Audition on it is a breeze. Runs my entire studio. Everything I do is done on this thing. No spinning hard drive, fan-less, dead silent, LONG-ass battery life, light and perfectly portable. I take this thing everywhere.

Great mic at a decent cost
Bought this a while back for right at $150 at Guitar Center, and it is a pretty damn good mic for the cost. The mic I had ORIGINALLY came in looking for was a Shure SM7B (I still want it lol), which is $400, but I figured, there's no reason in hell to buy an SM7B when I don't exactly have a soundproof environment to make it sound any better than the P220 or any other cheaper mic, because if you have a shitty vocal environment, it won't make a single difference what mic you're using, so I opted for the P220. Solid mic, I love it.

Good for all-around use.
I use these for when I'm making beats or recording songs. They work well as studio monitors and as day-to-day casual headphones. They have bluetooth capability, which is great for use with phones, along with a W3 chip from Apple, which makes it absolutely SEAMLESS to connect it to my Mac and my iPhone, however I prefer to just use the cable when I use them for music production because bluetooth causes pretty major output lag. (They also came free with my Macbook, which is pretty sweet.)
