Adam said: "I've stopped working with Parker now, although I USED A Fly ON THE ALBUM. They had a tremendous revamping of their company… so I wasn't in touch with those guys any more(...)"

"The Adam Dutkiewicz Signature Fly opens Parker Guitars to a new genre of music. Adam "D" of Killswitch Engage required an EMG-81 active pickup in the bridge position and an EMG-85 active pickup in the neck position to provide the heavier tones needed for his instrument. Combined with the many innovative features of the Parker Fly and you have an instrument that sets a new standard for electric guitars used by players of heavy rock and metal. The Parker Fly Electric Guitar is light, fast, and amazingly versatile."

A: Ok, cool and what did you write the record with?

Adam D: Actually a Schecter 7 string because, I actually bought the 7 string like years and years and years ago. It was sitting in my closet and you know, when I went into the making of this record, I just wrote some songs that just felt like they needed to be on a 7 string, so yeah.
