Albert Hammond Jr

Albert and Nick from The Strokes use the Fender Hot Rod Deville 2x12 as their main recording and live amp. It can be seen throughout the video.

I noticed Albert first changing from his trademark to the 68 custom deluxe reverb at a spring 2019 show in Toronto but could not find good footage to back up. In this video it is clear at 8:51.

Stage left during the All Points East festival, we can see Albert is using the JC-40 (may be a JC-22) in conjunction with another amp.

Albert Hammond, Jr. is currently showcasing its flexibility with his band The Strokes and has this to say about it:

"The Blackstar Artist 30 gives me amazing tube tone and the sonic options I need. From the studio to the stage it always delivers. It manages to do everything an amp should do!"

Both Albert and Nick of The Strokes used this amp.

2 amp heads of that kind, along with two 4x12 matching cabinets were seen with Hammond Jr. He used those amps especially for Strokes' performance at Bonnaroo, which happened on 12nd of June, 2015.

Although this video looks like it was filmed with a potato, 13:06 is the shot where he can clearly be seen with 2 Hiwatt DR504 heads.

Hammond was featured as a user of Hiwatt products, and there is a photo of him with the cabinets as well.
