We Are Scientists is an American rock band originating from California, with a long-standing base in New York City. The group was formed in 2000 by founding members Keith Murray (vocals, guitar) and Chris Cain (bass). Over the years, the band has collaborated with various drummers, but Keith Carne has been a stable presence on drums for several years. Known for their eclectic blend of alternative dance, indie rock, dance-punk, modern rock, and new rave, We Are Scientists have carved out a unique niche with their energetic and infectious sound.
