In this YouTube video, Analog Kitchen showcases his latest setup for life performances. At 10:22 he states that the Blackbox gets a clock from the Akai (MPC Live) and states it's a loop player that fires off earcandy (stuff in the background).

In this YouTube video, Analog Kitchen showcases his latest setup for life performances. At 11:21 he points at the mixing desk. Note that he does not "mix" on the desk, EQ is set to neutral, faders are either full open or closed. Note as well that he did changed the order/color of some of the fader caps for convenience. He used the red fader caps for track 1 (Kick from the Octatrack) and track 7 (Bass from the Moog Minitaur). The MPC and Octatrack come in on stereo tracks (green faders).

In this YouTube video, Analog Kitchen showcases his latest setup for life performances. At 12:57 he states the Launch Control XL is a MIDI controller mapped to the MPC Live. Later in the video he will show that he can use it to mute and manipulate tracks live on the MPC. Note that he changed the caps/faders to red caps/faders from Chromacaps.

At 10:10 he states that the Octatrack that the drums are coming from the Octatrack and gets a clock from the Akai MPC Live (and passes the clock to the Blackbox). Based on this video, it seems to be a black MkII version (with square track buttons as the MkI has round buttons).
