The Gibson L6-S is a solid body electric guitar. It was the working musician's descendant of the L5S jazz solid body electric guitar. It was the same shape, very much like a wide Gibson Les Paul, but with a 24 fret two-octave neck, the first Gibson guitar to have this. Serial: 81760511. The Gibson L6-S was one of the first guitars that had experimented with the now popular Silver Burst finish. At the time of production of this model the finish had not quite been perfected and many of the original Silver Burst L6's had begun turning a green / goldish color. The Silver Burst L6 was only produced for about 12-14 months and was then discontinued. These models are incredibly rare. This particular L6 has changed to more of a gold color. Play wear on the neck. Deep gouge on the lower bout. Original tuners. One pickup has been swapped out. This replaced pickup is in the case. New straplocks. Neck could stand to be looked at. Guitar labeled "GEEZER" for it's appearance in the indie film GEEZER staring BJA.

This Gretsch Duo Jet is part of the private collection of Billie Joe Armstrong.

The classic Gretsch® Duo Jet™ dates to the earliest days of rock music. Modeled closely on its late-’50s ancestor, today’s Duo Jet features dual High Sensitive Filter’Tron humbucking pickups, “tone switch” circuitry, ebony fingerboard with Neo-Classic "thumbnail" inlays, Space Control™ bridge and Gretsch by Bigsby B3C vibrato tailpiece.

This 2005 Gretsch Duo Jet is a lightly used, killer guitar.

Billie is releasing a decent collection of Gretsch guitars used heavily on Uno, Dos, Tre and here is one of the picks of the litter in his shop.

Made in Japan. Very light marks along the back of the guitar, but overall not much in the way of finish issues. Neck is straight and true. It should be noted that the neck of this guitar feels awesome. Clean and clear tone. Such a cool guitar. There are no further issues, aside from the aforementioned, to be seen or heard. We have done our best to capture any imperfections of this instrument through our photography here on the site. Please enjoy.

A killer piece. Ships in an OHSC.

All items in Billie's Reverb Shop ship fully insured with a signed and embossed Certificate Of Authenticity by Billie Joe Armstrong.
