Brad Buxer's Studio Equipment
According to Geoff Grace in this Gearslutz post, Brad Buxer had an original Akai MPC-60 drum machine
According to this article, Brad Buxer had started out working with Michael Jackson as a drum machine programmer on Dangerous and in the studio was using a (repainted) bright red Linn 9000.
In this tour photo (from the History tour), Brad Buxer can be seen using a Akai MX-1000 synth.
In a masterclass at Abbey Road Institute Paris, Brad Buxer mentioned using the Roland TR-909 Rhythm Composer for the kick drum in "Stranger in Moscow," a highlight of which was shared by Abbey Road Institute Sydney on Instagram.
...for "Stranger in Moscow-" for the kick I used a 909 drum with an 8th note delay but everything else is synthetic- made from his beatbox.
