Chris Corner's Gear
At 0:40 in the Video, Chris explains how he uses a Korg Minilogue for sound effects as well as his main keyboard for live performances with his band IAMX.
I'll take something like Omnisphere, which I love because in the end I am a person who wants to make a song and have it work quite quickly. So it has a huge palette of sounds that I can use...it is a bit too big though...(Laughs again). But it gives me a quick inspiration that I can then manipulate.
We have a Novation Bass-Station 2 and Xiosynth that generate some sounds, I use an Arturia Microbrute which is great for touring because it is tiny and it’s got some nice, fat, gritty sounds that I push through delay and effects.
In an interview with Gearslutz, Chris Corner of IAMX discusses using the Novation X-Station 25 Synthesizer/USB Interface for sound generation. He highlights its compact size and the rich, gritty sounds it produces, which are enhanced with delay and effects during touring.

I’ve got a complicated vocal setup with a Boss RC looper which is also synced to the tracks, then I go through a few Boss pedals and an Electro-harmonics Voicebox pitch-shifter and then all into a Strymon BigSky.
