Dunlop’s Heavy Core Trivium guitar strings were designed in conjunction with both Matt Heafy and Corey Beaulieu to offer optimum down-tuned performance! Each gauge in this set was handpicked by Matt and Corey in the cutting-edge Dunlop String Lab, perfectly spec’d to deliver the proper tension when played in hard-hitting drop tunings. What’s more, Sweetwater guitarists find that Dunlop’s Heavy Core string design has the amazing quality of boosting your dynamic range and increasing tuning stability, all at once. As any Trivium fan knows, Matt and Corey have drastically different styles and rigs, so it’s a testament to the sheer versatility of Dunlop strings that they’ve both been using them since Trivium’s very beginnings. Heavy Core Trivium Guitar strings retain that same versatility, but with seriously enhanced performance, durability, and tone!
