"Yeah, I used to think solid state amps sucked, but the Beta Leads are really sweet. Two identical channels that you can use individually or both at the same time, which is what i do for a 'boost' sometimes. They also have plenty of gain, I don't normally use any distortion or fuzz, just a tuner and a Phase 90. Buzz from he Melvins uses them, Cobain used them, etc... They're also nice and small compared to some amps. I carry mine on the plane with me and it fits in the overhead bin."

He mainly uses it as a preamp during solos, with treble cranked in order to compensate the "dark" sound of the Orange cabinet.

The Phase 95 can be seen around 20:28 in the video. David usually played with a MXR Phase 90 but he says that he replaced it with the 95 in order to have a smaller pedalboard. He also says that he can't really tell the difference between the two MXR pedals. He mainly uses the 90 circuit with the "Script" switch turned off.
"I just had a tuner and an MXR Phase 90. The distortion was all just the amp."

The Drop can be seein 18:55 in this video. David replaced the knob with a MXR one and a washer in order to make it turn harder and avoid accidental turns. He says he kept moving the original knob while playing.

At 2:04 he notes that he specifically likes the '72 version of the Thinline Telecaster. Also, At 2:08 he says that the one he uses (his favorite) is Mexican made. The Fender Classic Series '72 Telecaster Thinline has two humbuckers, and is made in Mexico. Earlier in the video (0:50) he shows that he has a Fender Telecaster Thinline that was actually made in 1972, but taking it on the road was too harsh of an environment for it, which implies that the one he currently uses was not made in 1972.
