Taken at DVBBS' apartment in Toronto, you can see the UA 6176 Channel Strip centre of the photo placed on a stand in between Chris' monitors. This unit includes a tube microphone preamp and a compressor modelled after a 1176, which explains why Alex appears to be recording vocals in the picture.
