Eddie Ojeda
Eddie Ojeda's Guitars
In the late ’90s, Wayne Charvel re-created Ojeda’s bullseye guitar and it has since toured the world with him.
Citing their desire to look more ostentatious, French and Ojeda had their Ibanez Destroyers refinished by Steve Carr. The guitar appears in the band’s very-British-looking 1982 video for “You Can’t Stop Rock and Roll.”
"French (left) and Ojeda in 1976 with their then-new (and matching!) Ibanez Destroyers, which French recalls as renowned for being near-exact copies of Gibson’s korina-bodied Explorer. French/Ojeda in ’76: Michael Kagan, courtesy of Jay Jay French."
"My first serious guitar was a Gibson ES-345, then later I went to a Strat and I’ve stayed with the Strat body; it works and it’s the perfect size.”
At 7:46 you can see his B.C. Rich Rich NJ model
He is seen playing one live with Twisted Sister, most likely around 1980-1981
