Eduardo Parra Pizarro's Gear
Eduardo Parra Pizarro is shown using the Korg Triton Extreme 61-Key Workstation during a 2011 performance at Machu Picchu, as seen in a photo from Emol.
Used in 70s and 80s, The picture is from their performance at Machu Picchu in 1981.
In this video at 1:41 Eduardo Parra can be seen playing the Minimoog Model D
Organ used during the early years of Los Jaivas. Seen in this footage from 1971 and likely recorded in a couple of tracks from "El Volantín" debut album. Typical YC-30 sounds can be heard in the track 'Cacho', and 'Último Día'. In the latter, the YC-30 portamento strip was also recorded at the beginning of the track. Usage of "organ" (no further detail) is also addressed in the following "La Ventana" album, but seems to be only present in the track titled "Cuero y Piel". Likely, this was the last record of the band with the YC-30.
