Greg used this bass mainly for the Practice What You Preach tour. The video shown is Testament in studio recording their 3rd album. At 0:18 you can see Greg playing a red Ibanez RD 727 bass. Same one for recording the album and playing on tour for Practice What You Preach. Greg retired the bass after the tour and went back to playing his Ibanez soundgear bass.

During 1987 to 1993 Greg played a Ibanez SR800LE. This was his main bass during that time period. He pause in the Practice What You Preach tour to play a red Ibanez Road Bass . He most likey used it to record "The New Order", "Souls of Black" and "The Ritual". In this video you can see Greg playing the Ibanez bass during the performance.

Greg used this amp head during the time he joined back Testament. At 0:32 you can see the head(s) on the Ampeg 8x10 cabs. Greg used this head as his main amp head for many years later on. You can even see the same head on a video called “Testament - Gear Tour 2012” where Eric and Alex discuss about their rig they used for during Dark Roots of Earth. At 4:40 you can see the Ampeg SVT 5 Pro in a rack on the top of the Ampeg fridge, mostly like Greg’s rig. Even when he left Testament you can see pictures of him preforming with Trinity Fallen and many other bands with the same Ampeg head in his rig.

Greg started playing the Tobias bass at 1993-94 to recored "Low" and play on tour. This was also when Greg stopped being a Ibanez artist. This was his main bass till the time he left Testament in 1996 but when he rejoined this was his main bass again until 2009. In the video shown you can see him playing the blue Tobias bass during the performance.

Greg shortly used this bass during the Legacy tour in 1987. He quickly replace it with a Ibanez soundgear bass in the same year. The video shown you can see him playing the ESP bass in the performance.

Greg play this bass from the start of when he joined Testament (called Legacy at that time). He also used this bass to record The Legacy. In the Over The Wall music video you see him playing the Gibson bass. The shown you can see him playing the bass during the performance. Greg retired the bass when he switch to a ESP p bass but quickly after switch to a Ibanez soundgear bass in the same year of 1987.

Greg used this bass to record "The Ritual" and play on the tour. He used it to play songs like So Many Lies and the titled track. On the Ibanez 1992 General Catalog For USA; Greg was interviewed on what basses he plays and he said "I just got a Soundgear five-string, which for me is a new concept; I've never played a five-string before. But I'm going to be using it on probably a third to a half of the new Testament album." At 3:22 you can see Greg playing the 5 string bass.

Greg used SWR bass amplifiers in 1992 but he might’ve used them earlier, not really sure but this is the first sighting of seeing his bass amps on stage. At 2:40 you can see one and later on another one on the other side SWR Goliath II 4x10 cab, just right under Louie’s drum-set
