Very versatile, a really good bass for the price.

It was my first real bass and I can not be happier with it. It is good for fast, metal bass lines but also for funky slaps and mellower chord bass lines. One of the best investments I have ever made.

Is it a 1980s USA made Jackson? If so, great 1st bass!

Active pickups can be a bitch sometimes but this bass makes them worth it. My JS3 is red though haha.
