In an interview by Archive K, Hyeon-Do Lee confirmed that the Korg 01/W FD was his first synthesizer, which he purchased while being in Hyun Jin-young's dancing crew, Wawa. He used it to produce music for the Korean hip-hop duo Deux, of which he was a member. According to him, most of the sounds on Deux’s first album were made using the Korg 01/W FD.
