Joe Goldsmith uses the Boss SD-1 Super OverDrive, as evidenced by a photo from Luke Brealey's Instagram story. Luke, who recorded samples for Lovejoy, mentioned in a conversation that he used the SD-1 on some of these recordings.

In my conversation with Luke Brealey, who recorded samples for Will and Joe, he wrote that he used a "Muff Style fuzz" on some of those samples. The photo is Luke Brealey's Instagram story on how he was doing the samples for Lovejoy, I would post the convo but he asked me not to do it.
