John Bonham was also an endorsee for Paiste Cymbals for most of his career. At first he used the 'Giant Beats' range before being replaced with the 2002 series. Since at least 1975, Bonham often used a Paiste 18" 2002 Ride as both a ride and a crash and it was located to the right of his main bass drum mounted ride. This cymbal was discontinued by Paiste by the early 1980's.
