Josh Scogin's Guitars
At 2:42 in this video, Josh can be seen using a Les Paul Special to record guitar for In Humor And Sadness.
At around :50 in this live performance video, you can see Josh play his Black Fender Jazzmaster Guitar which has been modded to have one humbucker rather than two p90's.
Quote from Titan Guitars website:
Josh is a monster. We just love this guy. Besides being the guitar player in the no holds barred rock duo: '68, Josh has been touring with Titan #1 since its inception. Even being lost by the airlines couldn't separate it from Josh.
Single Seymour Duncan humbucker wired DIRECT to output jack, tuned low and played thru a wall of amps, Josh's Titan sounds incredible. Go see them and hear for yourself!
Josh Scogin can be seen using an SG with crescent inlays in almost every video from around the time of the first album, including the music video for Track 1 R. It has had all tone and volume controls removed, and the bridge pickup wired directly to the output jack.
Josh can be seen using a Fender Telecaster during the recording of In Humor And Sadness at the very beginning of this video.
