Modern Jazzmaster for a modern player.
Honestly, I initially bought this used with the thought of gutting it and putting in some antiquity jazzmaster pickups. but this came with after market duncans and thus far this guitar sounds amazing. I don't have a comparison in regards to the stock pickups but thus far this guitar sounds and plays amazing and it's definitely a great alternative to my American Special Jazzmaster (which i did put antiquities in)

Bought as a cheep nock-around, fell in love
picked up the transparent red special edition second hand as a cheep guitar to take to rehearsals and as a backup. it quickly became one of my favourite guitars. I loved its real so much i put a pair of Seymour Duncans in and it is now a match for anything 2-3 times the price
