I'm currently using Ableton, that's my software for recording. It was Reaper for a long time, but I switched to Ableton last year (I think) and I've been enjoying it since then. I think it's the right DAW for me. It really clicks with my workflow, especially as I’m getting more into production. It's helpful for that stuff. Reaper is good for recording live elements and being really minimal and not distracting, but Ableton is really engaging for production and has a lot of good sounds and plugins and stuff. Most of the time I don’t use effects other than in-amp or DAW reverb. I do all of my looping with the Line 6 delay – which I love – and I use the Boss Harmonist with the Line 6 when I play with my live band.
