In the official video for "Love You To Death" by Type O Negative, Kenny Hickey is observed playing a guitar that closely resembles the Fernandes Dragonfly (Pro Series). Despite its appearance being predominantly black, careful observation reveals details such as green-like inlays on the fretboard, suggesting modifications to the original instrument. In this you tube video for Type O Negative's song 'I Don't Wanna Be Me', Kenny Hickey is clearly seen playing a Fernandes single cut guitar, being a Fernandes Monterey. If you look closer at the guitar, you can see it has a Fernandes sustainer pickup in the neck position, and a Seymour Duncan pickup in the bridge, which are features exclusive to the elite spec of the Fernandes Monterey. He also made the fret markers of this guitar green, to fit the theme of the band
