Krist Novoselic
Krist Novoselic's Bass Guitars
Krist had 3–4 these, one of which I modified to have a rosewood neck. Also i believe he took out the pickgaurd of the bass. These basses were frequently toured throughout the band's career. One can be seen in the Sliver video and parts of the footage used for the Sub Pop In Bloom video. Krist's original Black Eagle is on exhibition at the Experience Music Project.
The Ibanez Roadster is shown in this very early photo of Krist with his tongue out.
"Krist had at least two of each in Ebony and Natural finishes. One of Krist's Natural finish Rippers can be seen in the Come As You Are video; An Ebony model can be seen in some of the footage used for the Sub Pop In Bloom video (you may also have seen one smacking Krist in the face at the 1992 MTV Video Music Awards!."(http://www.livenirvana.com/equipment/krist.php).
Also used from 91' - 93' on tour seen here at playing Milk It for the first time live at Cow Palace
Novoselic can be seen in this photo playing an Epiphone Jack Casady Bass in concert with Paul McCartney.
Krist Novoselic used a Fender Precision Bass during a performance at the Kennel Club, where the bass was played and subsequently smashed, as documented by Livenirvana.
In the music video for Smells Like Teen Spirit Krist can be seen playing this bass.
This Bass Guitar was used in Nirvanas iconic Mtv Unplugged Concert
In his June 2018 cover feature for Bass Player magazine, Novoselic is pictured with his Squier Gary Jarman Signature Bass, and it is listed in his 'Gear List' for the recording of his latest LP with Giants In The Trees.
In the photo, Krist Novoselic is seen playing a Gibson EB-2 Bass Guitar, which appears to be in Pelham Blue.
Krist Novoselic used the Gibson RD Artist Bass during Nirvana's "Nevermind" recordings and live performances. In the video "Nirvana - Breed (Live At The Paramount/1991)" at 02:30, you can clearly see the two switches and humbuckers characteristic of the RD Artist Bass, distinguishing it from the standard RD model.

In this picture from the early days, we can see Krist playing a Ibanez Roadstar II RB630
"The In Bloom video was to look as if it were filmed in the mid '60s and to have that kind of British invasion quality to it. Krist phoned to ask if I had any cool '60s basses for the shoot and I remembered still having the Ampeg that I played back in the early '80s" -from livenirvana.com
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8zFhyct4Bo&t=2310s Krist Novoselic borrowed this bass from Kurt Danielson of TAD. He borrowed this bass after he noticed his Ibanez Black Eagle went out of tune during Floyd the Barber and Love Buzz. Through out the live he used this bass during Dive until About a Girl to switch to his Sunn Mustang Precision Bass copy. But after Krist smashed his Sunn Mustang, he borrowed the 1962 Fender Precision bass of Danielson to play Blew and dropped it at the end of the live.
Fun fact: Dive and Sliver was recorded with the 1962 fender precision bass.
Plays one during some Gigs with the Bonafide Band.
