In this 2016 interview with Mendez, he mentions at 1:46 that the amps he used for recording the ‘Sorceress’ album were a Fender Super Bassman head and a matching 8x10 cabinet. We also see him use these amps live for a number of years. In a 2019 pedalboard rundown video Mendez did with KLOTZ (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-Lz4YCXWEs), we can see two of them in an amp rack throughout the video off to the right side, with one acting as his main amp and the other being used possibly as a backup.
