From a little research I recon Karoli used a 1967 Fender Stratocaster, he mentions in an interview he brought it because he saw Hendrix used one, obviously Hendrix broke the scene in 66-67 so I'm either assuming its dated around then, I chose 67 as it would seem fitted to CAN's joining in around 68 and Hendrix played 67 white strat.
The guitar was extensively used for live gigs and recording, up untill it was stolen after a gig in 72-73 as mentioned in an interview with Karoli.
