Mike Scott's Gear
A close up image of the body of the guitar can be seen at 0:16, and a more zoomed out can be seen at O:31
The video is from 2013, but I just saw the Waterboys at the end of October 2019 in Vancouver, BC at the Commodore Ballroom. Mike was swapping between two electrics....the '79 walnut The Paul, and this mahogany Pelham Blue The Paul Firebrand Deluxe. He seems to have been playing both of them for many years. In the video link, you can see this guitar at 15:45 as he plays Glastonbury song. You can find quite a few more examples throughout youtube.
In this photo, part of Scott's rig can be seen. There is also KRK V8 Series 2 visible.
In this photo, posted by Scott, the Fender Deluxe Hot Rod is visible.
Radial Tonebone pedals are the must-have tools for musicians that are serious about their tone. Give me my Plexitube lead tone or give me death... nothing else will do!
Scott about Radial Plexitube.
In this youtube video of a Waterboys performance on The Tube in 1984, Mike Scott is plugged into a Roland JC-120 seen behind him. He stopped using JC-120s, switching to various Fenders and briefly an Vox AC30, at some point in the 90s.
