Nick Cesarz discusses his use of the Universal Audio Apollo Twin USB Duo in a review on Drummingreview. He mentions purchasing the interface initially for vocal recording due to its two-input design and expresses that he wishes he had acquired it sooner, given how frequently he now uses it.
I bought these studio monitors after being frustrated with my KRK Rokit 8s. They were super loud and my mixes really sucked. Part of it was that I was really terrible at mixing at the time, but I also couldn’t hear the clarity in what I was mixing. Once I upgraded to the Focals it was like everything opened up. I actually started listening better when I was mixing. I could now hear the high frequencies popping out in the guitars and cymbals that really needed to be tamed.
Nick Cesarz is confirmed to use the Sabian 13” HHX Stage Hi-Hat, as indicated by a comment from the creator of a video, stating that he uses these specific hi-hats. The proof is supported by an image available at Equipboard.
