Alesis Strike Pro - In-Depth Review - DRUM! Magazine

drummagazine.com

The Alesis Strike Pro Electronic Drum Set strikes a harmonious balance between acoustic authenticity and electronic versatility. With its visually stunning design and solid build, the kit impresses with a plethora of sound customization options and an intuitive module. Drummers will appreciate the realistic feel of the mesh pads and the wide range of editable samples. However, some hardware issues, such as the clamp-mounted toms that may dip during play, and the absence of a kick pedal or hi-hat stand, could detract from the overall user experience. Despite these drawbacks, the Strike Pro remains a strong contender for both aspiring and professional drummers looking for a versatile and attractive electronic kit.

Alesis Strike Pro Electronic Drum Set review on drumspy.com

drumspy.com

Alesis’ Strike Pro Electronic Drum Set offers impressive features and a professional feel at a competitive price, but its faults are hard to overlook. While the mesh pads and sound module deliver a solid playing experience, the kit suffers from significant quality control issues, particularly with the hi-hat controller and piezo triggers. Users report erratic triggering and reliability problems, which can be frustrating during live performances. Additionally, the lack of a dedicated hi-hat stand and limitations in the effects engine further detract from its value. Overall, while the Strike Pro has potential, it currently falls short of expectations for serious drummers.

Alesis Strike Pro Kit Review - Is This the Right Kit for You?

omniversedrumming.com

Alesis's Strike Pro Electronic Drum Set offers an impressive array of features and a striking visual appeal, all at a budget-friendly price. The fully mesh pads and realistic drum sizes elevate playability, making it suitable for both beginners and pros. However, the sound module falls short compared to premium brands like Roland, particularly with cymbal nuances, which can detract from an otherwise stellar experience. If you're seeking an affordable entry into electronic drumming with solid build quality and customization options, the Strike Pro might just be your best bet despite its sonic limitations.

Alesis Strike Pro review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Alesis Strike Pro Electronic Drum Set is a powerhouse that offers serious value for its price. With a comprehensive setup including a variety of pad sizes and an impressive module packed with features, it caters to both beginners and seasoned drummers. However, players should be prepared for a fair amount of tweaking to get the setup just right, as initial performance may not be optimal and issues like unwanted re-triggering can arise. The pads can feel a bit clunky, and the cymbal choking mechanism requires excessive force. Despite these quirks, the overall functionality and sound quality make it a solid choice in the electronic drum kit market.

Amazing

Very responsive to subtle hits across the snare and toms. the sound quality is fantastic from the module and lots of option for creating your own. Using it for recording from the module, as well as use as a midi controller. Hi-hat response can be a bit fiddly to find the right setting for you, but once you do feels very natural.

I love the kit and the price point. I think it sounds moderately decent and definitely competes with Roland’s higher-end kits. I couldn’t recommend it more.
