On the cover of a live album of Hell-era Heartbreakers ‘What Goes Around’ recorded on July 7, 1975 and November 16, 1975 that was issued after the death of co-frontman Johnny Thunders in 1991, you can clearly see Hell playing a Gibson EB-1 bass, and evidence suggesting that it is a copy can be debunked by the clarity of the headstock on the album cover on Discogs
