"Actually the first headphones that I used where by Sennheiser but it had such a small chord that it pulled off like a few mixers during my sets when I would turn around searching for a final side. So I decided that I need to get different headphones. So I came over to Technics, which has like the more rotating ears, which I really need to use because I don't actually wear my headphones [I just keep them around my neck]. So I need to have flexible ears."

This photo Sander Van Doorn shares on Twitter of his home studio setup shows he produces using Beats Pro Over-Ear Headphones (black color). They are hooked up to his RME audio interface.

His tweet reads, "A month off to work in my studio is paying off: finishing a new track today!!"

In this Facebook photo posted by Sander van Doorn, he's playing a live show (Crush in San Francisco, Feb 14, 2015), and can be seen wearing the Pioneer HDJ-2000-K DJ Headphones. These are functionally identical to the normal HDJ-2000s, except the color is black (as denoted by the "-K" in the model name).

In the official music video for "Rage," Sander Van Doorn is seen using Sennheiser Momentum Headphones at the 0:51 mark.
