Technics RP-DH1200 Review | Trusted Reviews

trustedreviews.com

The Technics RP-DH1200 headphones deliver an exhilarating audio experience with their powerful bass, making them ideal for fans of dance music. While not the most precise in sound accuracy, their engaging performance is a highlight. Design-wise, their DJ-inspired aesthetics may not appeal to everyone, and their tight grip can be uncomfortable over long sessions. However, they offer durability with features like swivel earcups and a detachable cable, making them versatile for DJ or casual use. For those seeking a thrilling sound at a reasonable price, these headphones are a compelling choice, especially compared to pricier, style-focused alternatives.

Technics RP-DH1200 headphone review

shortlist.com

The Technics RP-DH1200 headphones deliver impressive sound quality at an affordable price, making them a strong contender for budget-conscious audiophiles. Their robust construction and ample padding ensure durability and comfort, although their bulky design might deter some users. They excel in bass without sacrificing subtle tones, and maintain sound quality even at high volumes with minimal noise bleed. While not suited for active wear, they are a reliable option for those seeking powerful, durable headphones under £200. Overall, these headphones receive a positive nod for their sound performance and build quality, despite their less stylish appearance.

Moderate considering price itself

This headphone has every function DJs needs and really solid body. But talking about sound, too boomy and far from flat FR. I can't use this for production monitoring

I made a bunch of tracks, but only released a few of these back then. Usually I wait and test my new creations in the clubs where I'm playing. If the crowd likes it, I start considering if and how I can release those. #StoryOfHardwell

"Actually the first headphones that I used where by Sennheiser but it had such a small chord that it pulled off like a few mixers during my sets when I would turn around searching for a final side. So I decided that I need to get different headphones. So I came over to Technics, which has like the more rotating ears, which I really need to use because I don't actually wear my headphones [I just keep them around my neck]. So I need to have flexible ears."
