Sascha Rebbe

In this demo and review, Sascha Rebbe gives his thoughts on the Boss PX-1. He says:

I have to say I'm really impressed by how good the sounds are because when it comes to drive sounds and modeling, I'm usually a bit skeptical, but I have to say all the drive effects were super convincing. They felt all very natural and most importantly, they responded really well to picking dynamics and also to rolling back the guitar's volume knob. So, this was truly convincing, I have to say. And all the other effects sounded great as well. And it is truly amazing that we now have access to all those vintage Boss pedals which you usually could only get on the used market for crazy prices. And you can even put several of them into one pedal and switch between them.

So, I have to say I really like the concept of the pedal. You get 16 effects included when you purchase it, which is great. And from what I know, Boss is even planning to release more effects in the future, which you then can purchase for a small price without any subscription, as far as I know. Again, I really like the idea of the PX1. The sound quality is fantastic. It is easy to use and I think it perfectly combines classic tones with modern technology.
