Scott Carlson's Effects Pedals

In this (http://www.brooklynvegan.com/an-interview-wi-75/) interview, Scott states:

''The distorted bass was always present due to the influence of Motorhead, Discharge and Venom. In the studio, we were laying down scratch tracks and I plugged my bass into a “name brand” distortion pedal and ran that directly into the board. It resulted in the crazy, bulldozer sound you hear on the album. One of those happy accidents!''

Considering the years during which ''Horrified'' was recorded, it was very much probably a (MIJ) BOSS DS-1: the most popular distortion pedal at the time.

The proof is the linked live video, at 7:22 minutes, where you can see Scott soundchecking his bass plugged into an orange BOSS pedal (at the time, the DS-1 was the only three-knobs orange distortion pedal that BOSS made).
