Scott Lucas' Guitars
Scott Lucas shows his modified Fender Stratocaster at around 2:40 into this video of his gear rundown. It appears to be a standard Fender Strat, black with white pickguard, with a rosewood neck.
He says, “So, I do this to all of my guitars that I get. So I try not to get the greatest, nicest guitars ‘cause I’m just gonna have to destroy them. What you see here with this Strat that I have, I removed the middle pickup, took the bridge pickup and put an SG pickup in there, and then put the bass pickup there [points to low E and A strings]. The bass pickup only comes under the bottom two strings, and then a separate jack and that’s where the bass comes out. That goes into the Ampeg bass amp.”
He then goes on to say that with this setup, the root note of whatever chord he plays has to be on the bottom two strings, to have the intended bass sound.

Scott plays another Ibanez telecaster here except this one is a copy of a deluxe model instead of the standard tele. This one is modified the same as all of his other guitars with the added bass pickup under the bottom two strings out the seperate jack for bass sound. It seemed to have been used extensively in touring around 02 along with his Ibanez Les Paul. It can be seen in the video around 45:00 minutes in.

Scott can be seen playing his modified 2352 here in this image. There are also many videos of him using it online. It is black with stickers as well as an added bass pickup under the bottom two strings run to a seperate jack to make up for the lack of bass player.

The Ibanez les paul copy can be seen right from the begining of the video and has been owned by Scott for many years. It seemed it was used most heavily from 02-03 during one of their tours.
