Spencer uses the guitar throughout this video and can be seen with it in other photos of the band.

Unfinished custom guitar made by Scott French that was bought by Spencer to be finished by Scott: "At the beginning of last year (2006), I bought an unfinished project off of him, a guitar that he had made as an experiment for himself that he had never finished. I paid him to finish it and that is the main guitar that I play now and the guitar that I played on the whole new record. It’s my favorite guitar that I’ve had." Custom guitar made by Scott French for Spencer Seim. "Right now, I’m only playing two Scott French guitars. He’s based here in northern California and I got one of his guitars in the beginning of 2005. He kind of endorsed me for a while and then we put our heads together and made this super-weirdo-custom guitar with all kinds of experimentation electronically and stylistically. We just tried to make something really interesting and I was really impressed with it."
