"The red guitar with white stripes and a Stratocaster body is my first St. Blues "Eliminator", which is still in my possession today (although I do intend to sell it).

I used it for almost all guitars recorded for "Into The Pandemonium" and, later, "Vanity/Nemesis", and also on the associated tours. I also used it, although in a far more limited manner, for "Monotheist" and "Eparistera Daimones" (see below).

Tommy Vetterli of Coroner and I were, for a time in the late 1980s, quite taken by the quality of the luxurious workmanship applied to the St. Blues guitars and by their sound. It was Tommy who, still as my guitar tech, pointed these guitars out to me. At one time, I owned three St. Blues "Eliminators", one in red and two in black. I sold the black ones in Texas in early 1993.

I now consider it a huge mistake to have used guitars different than my usual Ibanez Icemans for anything other than leads. It caused me to temporarily lose my signature sound, a sound I was/am extremely fond of and which defines me entirely. The red St. Blues is an excellent guitar for leads, however, particularly because of it's fantastic old Kahler tremolo system. I thus used it for a few harmonies, leads, and guitar turmoil on "Monotheist" (e.g. in "Ain Elohim") and "Epaistera Daimones" (e.g. in "The Prolonging")."

Thomas Gabriel Fischer occasionally plays the Ibanez Les Paul, as seen in a user-uploaded photo on Metal-Archives.

He used it at the 1989 live Celtic Frost gig at Hammersmith Odeon. This guitar can be seen in this video. As seen in the video his Model 5 gitar has multiple Michelle logos on it, those are the initials of his ex-wife Michelle Villanueva.
