BC RICH WARLOCK EXTREME | REVIEW - Guitar Interactive Magazine

guitarinteractivemagazine.com

The B.C. Rich Warlock Extreme is a triumphant return to form for the iconic brand, shedding its outdated features for premium appointments like Gotoh, Fishman, and Floyd Rose components. It's a dream for shredders with its "Shredzilla" neck and neck-through construction, although setup adjustments might be needed out of the box. The Fishman Fluence pickups provide articulate, punchy tones with dual voices, though some modern features like a rechargeable battery pack are missed. While not subtle or versatile, this guitar excels as a high-quality, visually striking instrument for hard rock and metal enthusiasts.

These can be very cool and for sure have their own tone

The Warlock is one of the few "pointy" guitars that you can sit on the couch and chill with. They have their own tone and their vibe totally, you can be yourself with it or be someone completely different ;) Usually well made and they come in just about any configuration you could think of from Floyd Rose and Humbuckers all the way to a simple wrap around tailpiece and a single coil.
